TICAD7公式サイドイベント「アフリカにおけるSDGs達成とTICAD推進に向けて－日本発　若手研究者の貢献－」

UNU-IASは、文科省からの支援を受け、SDGs達成に貢献する人材育成を目的に「アフリカにおけるグローバル人材育成事業(GLTP)」を2013年に立ち上げ、過去6年間に57名の日本人大学院生をアフリカ13カ国23大学へ派遣してきました。このたび、TICADV7開催に合わせ、学生らが主体となって、これまでの研究成果を「TICAD6ナイロビ実施計画」に挙げられた優先分野を軸に総括しました。本サイドイベントでは、次世代を担う若手研究者による多様な研究をアフリカのSDGsとの関連で紹介します。さらに、SDGsとTICADに沿った今後のアフリカと日本との間における教育・学術パートナーシップ強化について、参加者の皆さんと幅広くディスカッションを行ってまいります。皆さまのご参加をお待ちしております。

UNU-IAS has implemented the Global Leadership Training Programme in Africa (GLTP) since 2013 supported by the MEXT Japan and attached 57 Japanese graduate students to 23 Universities/Institutes in 13 African countries. Taking the opportunity of TICAD7, the GLTP graduates will present their overall results along with the priorities of “TICAD6 Nairobi Declaration”. GLTP have been fostered various researches, and young researchers will introduce their research in the context of African SDGs. This event will also have an extended discussion with participants on further strengthening educational and academic partnership between Africa and Japan.
